Come meet comic book artist Eddie Avila!
Eddie is a New York artist who grew up in Corona Queens. He received his Bachelors in Illustration at Parsons School of Design. After graduating, Eddie stepped away from art, but returned to it two years ago. He is trying to break in to the comic book industry and currently focuses on his artwork and his current title, "DAY ONE: THE COMIC."
"DAY ONE chronicles an apocalyptic event that tears the world apart. We journey with Pik Samson as he loses everything on day one." Going into year three he has sold over 5,000 copies of DAY ONE through conventions and with the help of local comic shop support. Eddie is now being represented by Artistalliez. With the help of his art rep, Roberto Jimenez, and the seasoned artists on his roster, he’s looking forward to increasing his presence and challenging himself with artwork and characters he has yet to tackle.
