EC is a Safe Space!

Emerald City is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment for everyone — Guests, visiting creators, vendors, event participants, and Team Members.

Harassment will not be tolerated. This includes unwanted contact, offensive comments, inappropriate jokes, stalking, intimidation, or behavior targeting someone because of their race, nationality, appearance, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other personal traits.

GUIDELINES

• If someone’s behavior is inappropriate, they may receive a warning from an EC Team Member. Others are also encouraged to speak up when they feel comfortable doing so.
• A warning may be formal (“That violates EC’s Harassment Guidelines”) or informal (“That’s not appropriate” or “Hey, not cool”).
• There is no second warning. If the behavior continues, the person will be asked to leave immediately.
• Serious behavior may result in immediate removal without a warning.

These guidelines apply to everyone at Emerald City.
