JAWS THE BOARD GAME

In JAWS, one player takes on the role of the killer shark off Amity Island, while the other 1-3 players take on the roles of Brody, Hooper and Quint to hunt the shark. Character and event cards define player abilities and create game actions for humans and the shark. Gameplay is divided into two acts — Amity Island and The Orca — played on a double-sided board to replicate the film’s story:

-In the Amity Island phase, the shark menaces swimmers and avoids capture. Other players attempt to pinpoint the shark’s location and save swimmers from shark attacks.

-In the Orca phase, played on the reverse side of the game board, Brody, Hooper and Quint are aboard the sinking ship engaging in a climactic battle against the shark, while using additional action and strategy cards to defend the Orca from targeted shark attacks.

If humans kill the shark, they win; if the shark attack on the Orca succeeds, the great white shark wins.

JURASSIC PARK DANGER

“Hold onto your butts!” This Jurassic Park light strategy game, set in the chaotic scene of Isla Nublar, will take you on the adventure of your life! One player controls the T. rex, Dilophosaurus, and Velociraptor, prowling through the jungle to attack the humans. The remaining players work as the team of iconic characters from the classic Jurassic Park? film to fight against the player controlling the dinosaurs. When a Human Character is defeated by the Dinosaurs, they can immediately reanimate as a brand new character. But be careful, if the Dinosaurs defeat three Human Characters, the Dinosaurs win. If the players controlling the Human Characters manage to get three Characters off the island to safety, those players win!

THE CAPTAIN IS DEAD: DANGEROUS PLANET

The intrepid crew escaped the alien prison in Lockdown. Now, having been assigned a third captain, they are on their first away mission! Taking their shuttlecraft to the surface of an abandoned alien planet, they are tasked with discovering alien relics that may point to why the alien empire detests our Spacefleet so much, and how we may one day forge peace.

Of course, your new captain was very diplomatic, and upon encountering giant bugs that may very well be the reason the aliens abandoned the planet, he chose to attempt to communicate. The bugs communicated by biting his head clean off. So now, once again without a captain, the crew must attempt to complete the mission by exploring tunnels and obtaining relics, all while fighting off a swarm of bugs!

The Captain Is Dead: Dangerous Planet uses the mechanisms of The Captain is Dead in a whole new way. Through exploration and area defense, you’ll try to survive long enough to obtain the necessary relics — but should the bugs attack the shuttlecraft enough times, you won’t be able to escape! The Dangerous Planet tunnel system is modular, for easier and harder challenges.

WIZKIDS 4D SETTINGS: JUNGLE SHRINE

The Jungle Shrine is the first offering from WizKids in the new 4D Settings line. These scenes offer more than just pre-painted miniatures for you. They offer exciting new play experiences and storytelling narratives.

With the Jungle Shrine set, you’ll have everything you need to set your adventure in a mystical jungle shrine. Will the runes on the standing stones open a door into the realm of faeries or trigger a magical trap? What happens when your players reassemble the broken statue? Where does the gateway lead? Who lives in the hut, tending to this sacred site? These are all questions you can pose to your players with the different set pieces included in this set. Since there’s no “right” answer to any of these questions, each piece has numerous ways it could be reused, providing a great value.

This set will also be one of the first to include LEDs, with a light-up fire and glowing rune stones!
