RINGMASTER
In Ringmaster: Welcome to the Big Top, you compete to build the best carnival and earn the title “Ringmaster”! The only way to reach this illustrious title is to hire stars and build attractions…while occasionally sabotaging the other players and adding devious sideshows to your opponents’ carnivals!

The game is fast and family-friendly. Each player starts with three cards, and on your turn, you draw one card from the deck, then you may play one card, following these rules:

-Stars & Attractions are played in front of you.
-Event cards trigger effects when played to the discard pile.
-Sideshow cards are played in front of your opponents.

Now, here’s where things get tricky. Each player’s win condition changes throughout the game. For example, the “Three Ring Circus” card states that you win the game when you have three of them in front of you. Be careful, though, as your opponents can sabotage your best efforts, preventing you from becoming the “Ringmaster”!

SUPER PUNCH FIGHTER

Super Punch Fighter is a game of arena battle and video-game powers for 1-6 players. Choose a fighter, grab their deck, and start knocking your opponents off the stage. Each knockout earns you a star, and grabbing an achievement card earns you extra stars. The first player to reach nine stars wins!

In more detail, each turn players can use any of the button cards in front of them to gain extra movement, draw more cards, perform extra attacks, and block damage from opponents. Every time you press a button, you put a thumb token on that button card to show it’s been used. You can press as many buttons as you like, but you can remove tokens from at most four cards at the end of your turn. Every other card with a thumb token still on it is then discarded, so pick your buttons wisely!

Aside from mashing buttons, you can play cards from your hand by paying the button cost of the card. Fighter cards are powerful and unique to your fighter. You can play multiple fighter cards on your turn as long as you have the buttons to pay for them, and if the last button on a fighter card matches the first button on the next card you play, you need to put a thumb token on that button only once! Pick the best cards to string together for a super-powered hit!

Super Punch Fighter includes a 1-2 co-operative mode called “Minion Rush” in which waves of minions try to overwhelm the board. Total your stars at the end to determine your rank, from lowly amateur to grand champion.

SORCERER

Sorcerer: A Strategy Card Game is set in what the company describes as a grim, gaslamp lit world full of fantastic, mythical creatures and sorcery. Designed for two to four players, the game pits two ancient beings of great power against one another to determine which of their lineage are strongest. The players use sorcery to conjure minions, cast minions, and wield enchanted items to reach the game’s goal of conquering three battlefields.

The game uses a simple resource system of “energy” that is determined randomly by a dice-roll at the beginning of each round, to make sure no round is the same. However, the outcome being the same for both players, the game balance stays even. This energy is then used in the Action Phase for conjuring minions from your hand on any of three battlefields, casting possessions that can improve your minion’s traits and abilities; or sorcery cards with various direct effects. Also as an action you can add more energy to your Energy Pool, draw more cards, move minions to another battlefield etc. The choice is yours, it is just about your pure skill to handle the battle preparation!

In the Battle Phase players roll amount of custom dice equal to each minion’s attack trait with possible outcome of miss, hit, double hit or critical hit for each die, and place damage counters on the respective minions or directly to the Battlefield. A unique system of Omen tokens then allows to adjust this outcome by re-rolling the dice, before distributing the damage among opponent’s minions and battlefield.

The combination of usual mechanics like story driven deck building, push your luck or dice-rolling; and a unique system of influencing the outcome of the battle, provides a perfect balance between strategy and random elements (even you still have the possibility to influence the outcome). Dividing the round to the Action Phase and Battle Phase then creates a very pleasant and natural flow of the hardcore game play.

KODACHI

In 12th century Japan, you rested after the Gempei War, retiring your ninjato sword, desiring a life of peace. But, once again, the ruling families call for your special skills to establish their honor. You will need stealth and strength, cunning and intrigue, and the swiftness of a Kodachi sword!

In Kodachi, you seek to steal treasures by facing guards in one of two ways — with strength, which requires you to play cards with higher numbers than the guards, or with stealth, playing cards with lower numbers than the guards. Successfully acquired treasures can be used to generate rumors, bribe envoys, and strengthen your skills.

Clan tokens are gained by playing envoys and when the last clan token is taken, the player with the highest score wins!
