“Justin’s Jabber” – Back Issue Comics! 7/13/18

One of the things I like about selling and collecting comics is that you learn something new about the hobby every day.

For example, until the other day I didn’t know that Timely Comics, the World War II era company that originally published Captain America, decided to make the final issue of the original Captain America Comics series a collection of short horror stories!

Weird Tales indeed…

Captain America Comics #75, CGC 7.0 (Fine/Very Fine), $3,000.

Amazing Spider-Man #252, first appearance of the symbiote suit, CBCS 9.4 (Near Mint), $210.

Secret Wars #8, origin of the symbiote suit, Very Fine Minus (7.5), $70.

Infinity War #1-6, complete Very Fine/Near Mint (9.0) set, $60.

I’d like to know why that lady on the cover to that Cap book even opened that chest in the first place.

She strolls unescorted into a spooky, torch-lit dungeon and starts opening random containers?
I’m pretty sure that’s burglary.

That creepy, hairy monster looks like he’s planning on teaching that young lady a lesson about respecting other people’s property rights.
