“Justin’s Jabber” – Back Issue Comics! 6/15/17

We took in a nice collection of Batman books a few days ago which included a few rare, or as they frequently abbreviate on eBay, “HTF” (hard to find) issues.

I won’t tell you what I originally thought HTF was an abbreviation for; I’ll only intimate to you that I thought it was an abbreviation for something dirty … something profoundly dirty. Let your imagination go wild….

All Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder #8, 2008 Retailers Roundtable Program Variant (Limited to 200 copies), Very Fine Plus (8.5) condition, $150.

All Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder #1, Diamond Retailers Summit 2005 Variant (Limited to 1,000 copies), Near Mint Minus (9.2) condition, $75.

All Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder #10, Recalled Edition Frank Quitely Variant, Near Mint Minus (9.2) condition, $60.

All Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder #10, Recalled Edition Standard Cover, Near Mint Minus (9.2) condition, $25.

Speaking of profoundly dirty, Frank Miller’s version of Barbara Gordon sure wasn’t the classy debutante that Yvonne Craig portrayed on the old TV show.

Miller’s Batgirl curses like a longshoreman who just stubbed his toe. You gotta love that, right?
