Aquaman ain’t sweatin’ the zombie apocalypse!
I’m pretty sure that zombies can’t swim.
Seems to me that due to the state of decomposition, most zombies would at best be able to float near the surface and very slowly tread water, but no way are they making it to the ocean floor to give Aquaman a hard time. Zombies are too desiccated, very buoyant.
Aquaman #35, first appearance of Black Manta, Fine Plus (6.5), $175.
Aquaman #29, first appearance of Ocean Master, Fine Plus (6.5), $150.
Walking Dead #5, Very Fine Plus (8.5), $100.
Walking Dead: The Governor Special #1, Green Foil Edition, CGC Signature Series 9.4 (Near Mint), signed by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, $150.
I may have said this in this column before now but, to reiterate: in a fistfight versus Namor, Aquaman would get his goldfish scale shirt pulled over his head and knocked out cold.
How, you may ask, would Namor so handily trounce Aquaman?
The answer to that question is simple: Namor has wings on his ankles which gives him a clear tactical advantage in any aquatic battle.
Hydrodynamics is not my field of expertise, but common sense tells you that ankle-wings underwater equals big-time propulsion.
Until next week, Namor FTW!
