“Justin’s Jabber” – Back Issue Comics! 11/22/19

It’s strange that Frank Castle decided to call himself “The Punisher.”

He isn’t really punishing people – he’s actually murdering them.

Frank should have went with “The Murderer” instead of “The Punisher,” because “The Murderer” is more accurate.

I’m just saying, Mr. Castle.

…please don’t murder me.

Amazing Spider-Man #129, first appearance of The Punisher, Very Good (4.0), $600.

Incredible Hulk #180, first cameo appearance of Wolverine, Fine Minus (5.5), $400.

Tomb Of Dracula #10, first appearance of Blade, Very Good (4.0), $400.

Flash #106, first appearance of Gorilla Grodd and Pied Piper, Very Good/Good (3.0), $475.

Now “Gorilla Grodd” and “The Pied Piper” those are some descriptively accurate names!

He’s a gorilla named Grodd.

He’s a dude who plays a flute, which is called “a pipe” for some reason … and to be honest I have no idea what “Pied” means.

Maybe this isn’t an accurate name.

Hang on.

Apparently “pied” is a term which refers to a multi-colored coat, so I guess as long as The Pied Piper wears a coat with at least two colors on it then his name is indeed accurate.

I’m glad that we got that sorted out, aren’t you?
